This series begins in January 2021 with 2 blog posts to introduce herbal oil usage and teach how to make them at home. Then, from February-August, 1 herbal oil will be featured monthly. All the herbs featured are abundant, weedy, or invasive in nature (and gardens!) and easy to identify. Each post about a featured herb is timed just before it becomes available in nature so that you can forage for your own and try making herbal oils!
Schedule (will be updated with links as the posts become available):
- January: Introduction to Herbal Oils and Make Your Own Herbal Oils
- February: Violet leaf and flower oil
- March: Dandelion flower oil
- April: Wild Rose oil
- May: Yarrow oil
- June: Red Clover oil
- July: Calendula oil
- August: Cayenne oil
