About
Lynn Roberts is the Founder of Acuity Wellness, providing tailored nutrition, herbal, and Ayurvedic services for individuals with complex medical conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and autism.
Lynn holds a Bachelor of Science in Lifestyle Nutrition from West Chester University and is a dedicated Community Nutritionist with a multi-disciplinary approach to holistic healthcare. Also an Ayurvedic Health Counselor and Clinical Herbalist, Lynn combines traditional wisdom with modern, evidence-based medicine to guide individuals toward optimal wellness. Currently, Lynn is pursuing her doctorate in Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine and Certificate in Won Buddhism, further expanding her expertise in complementary health practices.

Specializations
Lynn’s specialization in complex medical conditions is deeply rooted in both personal experience and passion for using nature to help others achieve optimal health and well-being. Beginning early in life, she faced complex medical conditions and food insecurity, which profoundly shaped her understanding of health and nutrition. These early experiences inspired her to become a Community Nutritionist, with a strong commitment to ensuring equitable and accessible nutrition for all.
From a young age, Lynn was fascinated by the healing power of nature and the wisdom embedded in ancient medicinal practices. This curiosity led her to explore various modalities, including Ayurvedic, herbal, and Chinese medicine.
Lynn now counsels many individuals with complex medical diagnoses, including but not limited to:
- Thyroid disorders
- Autoimmune conditions of the musculoskeletal, immune, and gastrointestinal systems
- Endometriosis, PCOS, and other reproductive disorders
- Type 2 Diabetes
- Anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health conditions

Lynn also specializes in promoting balanced eating and skill-building sessions in the kitchen and grocery store for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and autism. She began working with the IDD and autism community in 2020, serving as a mentee and assistant to the founder of the Ram Chefs Program at West Chester University. Since 2021, she has been a Direct Support Professional (DSP), providing supported living and in-home and community-based support with a focus on nutrition. Unlike most nutritionists, Lynn has the unique opportunity to be on-site and hands-on, helping individuals and families integrate nutrition advice from meal planning and grocery shopping to meal preparation.
Community Engagement
In addition to her roles in healthcare, Lynn is a committed herb farmer and educator for the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, contributing to sustainable agriculture, community-based food systems, and the battle against food insecurity while sharing her knowledge of edible and medicinal plants. An avid gardener, forager, and maker, Lynn actively participates in her local community garden and grows food every year for her local food pantry.

Approach
Lynn believes that optimal health looks different for everyone and utilizes Health at Every Size® and intuitive eating principles, along with motivational interviewing skills, to ensure her counseling is as trauma-informed and inclusive as possible.
