Herbalists Without Borders is a grassroots network of herbalists, healers, and community members dedicated to health justice and holistic care. As part of the global HWB movement, we aim to make herbal education and medicine accessible to all, especially those facing systemic barriers.
Our newly minted chapter has made meaningful strides in our community in 2025:
- Culturally Relevant Medicinal Garden: We’ve installed a garden at a nonprofit that supports the Latine community, cultivating plants that honor cultural traditions and promote wellness.
- Free Clinics & Classes: We offer free herbal education and clinics, providing resources and support to those in need.
Volunteer Opportunities
We are seeking passionate individuals to join us in our mission. Current needs include:
- Garden Maintenance: Help tend and expand our medicinal garden.
- Clinic Support: Assist with organizing and participating in free herbal clinics.
- Teaching Assistants: Support our educational programs by assisting in classes and workshops.
All are welcome—from beginner holistic health enthusiasts to community and clinical herbalists, acupuncturists, nutritionists, gardeners, and more! By volunteering, you’ll gain hands-on experience in herbal medicine, contribute to community health, and be part of a supportive network dedicated to making a difference.
